Shutter Eye Photo is owned and operated by Dayton photographer Lamar Pacley, whose work has been featured in more than 200 magazines and web publications nationally and internationally.

Lamar’s photography spans a wide range of styles, including high fashion, street fashion, fitness, glamour, maternity, family, portrait, and model portfolio photography. His ability to move between polished editorial imagery and more expressive, urban-inspired photography has helped create a recognizable style built around bringing out the personality and confidence of the person in front of his camera.

Lamar has also served for several years as lead photographer for the nationally recognized Dayton Emerging Fashion Incubator (DE-FI), creating high-end fashion imagery for designers and models. His work has helped models develop professional portfolios that have contributed to opportunities with leading modeling agencies.

While Lamar has been nominated for and received multiple photography awards, his favorite part of photography is much simpler: helping people see themselves at their best.

He believes great photography isn’t about fitting everyone into the same mold. Every person has something different to bring to an image. Whether the goal is sophisticated high fashion, bold street fashion, a fitness transformation, a professional modeling portfolio, maternity portraits, or meaningful family photographs, Lamar works to create images that feel authentic to the person in front of the camera.
